This is the Clapham Wargamers.

Well, not this exactly, I suppose this is the website of the Clapham Wargamers Guild, but it’s like the gateway drug to the world of Thursday night tabletop wargames, and boardgames. So welcome. How’ve you been? What’s your pleasure? It doesn’t look like much, but here at CWG we’ve got everything.

OK, not everything, but we’ve got everything in the area of south London pub based games clubs, particularly if your definition of everything includes GW games, Malifaux, Flames of War, some historical shenanigans and a willingness to get involved in pretty much all types of toy soldiers fun. We can be found in a big airy room upstairs in the Bread and Roses pub, which has a decently priced happy hour and does food.

So, that’s us, what about you? What did you want to do next?

Probably best to have an explore, see what’s what. Maybe, if you’re so minded browse the forums and pitch in on the discussions (Don’t mind Sheriff Shaw, he’s like that a lot of the time, but put a blanket over his head and tell him it’s night and he settles down), or else check out some pictures so you can see what the place looks like. If you’re not scared (and no reason you should be) either organise a game on the appropriate thread on the forum, or, if you’re over 18, come down and have a beer and meet us, we’d be glad to see you.
